ACT first achieved certification to ISO 27001:2005 in January 2012 and as a result of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information and data security, has achieved re-certification to the updated ISO 27001:2013 international security standard.
The standard stipulates the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) that will preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. It is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure.
ACT has integrated the ISMS into the company processes to ensure information security is taken into account at all levels within the organisation.
ACT’s company-wide commitment to upholding strong environmental principles is shown through our achievement of the ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification.
